SPECTER stands for Special Purpose Executive for Current Technology and Emerging Requirements.
It is not a job title. It is a designation for a specific kind of operator — someone who sits at the intersection of technology, strategy, and execution. Someone who does not wait for a department to hand them a solution. Someone who builds the capability, deploys it, and documents it so the next person can run it too.
Every person on the Edge of Intel team carries that designation. We are practitioners first. Everything published here comes from people who have been inside the problem — not analysts who observed it from the outside.
